Most fundraisers end when the campaign ends. This one doesn’t. When a family first buys through your rescue’s link, they are tied to your rescue by their email address. From then on, every Hawkes purchase they make sends 25% to your rescue: their pet portrait, next year’s holiday cards, a framed print, a team portrait for their office, and every new product as it launches. For as long as Hawkes is in business.
What your supporters get
- Up to seven cats and dogs in one portrait. No people needed, no one has to hold still, and no group photo required – one ordinary photo of each pet is enough.
- Every pet unmistakably themselves. Every pet is checked against their own photo before the family sees it, and if one is off, the portrait is made again.
- The pets they’ve lost, too. A pet who has died can be in the portrait beside the pets still at home, even from an older, imperfect snapshot.
- A framed print for the wall. An 18 x 12 framed fine-art print, $199, plus a private Family Gallery page to view, download and share the portrait.

- 25% of every purchase a family makes through your link: $49.75 on every $199 framed pet portrait.
- For life. Every later Hawkes purchase that family makes with the same email address pays your rescue 25%, whichever page they buy from.
- Your own link, ready-to-post copy, and before-and-after visuals to share.
- A page of your own showing the pet portraits families who came through you have chosen to make public, your rescue’s own description, how many pets have been portrayed, and a link to your website.
- Vets who choose to support you. Veterinary clinics can choose up to five rescues to send their clients to. Vets earn nothing from it; every commission goes to the rescue.

How lifetime attribution works – both ways
- A family who first buys through your link stays tied to your rescue. No other partner’s link or coupon can move them away from you.
- It works the other way too: a family already tied to another Hawkes partner stays with that partner. Your link won’t move them to you.
- Purchases your rescue makes for itself don’t earn a commission.
How to join
- Apply. Tell us about your rescue and where we can confirm it – your website, or your listing in a charity register.
- We review every application by hand. I check each rescue myself before approving it.
- Get your link. Once you’re approved, you receive your tracking link, ready-to-post copy and shareable visuals.
- Share it. Post it, put it in your newsletter, put it on your wall. Commissions are paid through Stripe or PayPal.

Frequently asked questions
Which pets can be in a portrait?
Cats and dogs, one to seven of them, with no people in the portrait.
Will our supporters’ portraits be shared?
Only if they say so. Every portrait is private until its owner chooses to share it. A portrait appears on your rescue’s page only when its owner has made it public and given permission for that use.
Does a family have to buy right away for us to get credit?
No. After a family clicks your link, they have 30 days to make their first purchase. Once they buy, they’re tied to your rescue for life. If they clicked another Hawkes partner’s link first, that partner gets the credit.
What else is coming?
Birth announcements, wedding announcements and canvases, anniversary canvases, and new impossible worlds every season. Every one of them pays your rescue 25% when a family you brought in buys it.
